June 10, 2007. Hands Across The Border provides a unique international learning experience for thousands of Guides and Scouts from Canada and the United States of America. 2007's theme, “Bordering on Friendship,” marked the 86th annual International Peace Arch celebration.

Guides and Scouts in both countries come together to commemorate the dedication of the Peace Arch and to celebrate our commonality. Girls parade carrying flags from the 144 countries belonging to WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts).
